From an entrepreneurial, working class background he then built a successful corporate and consultancy career with business giants including Mars and Cable & Wireless before going on to establish his own extremely successful boutique consultancy, Business GrowthInternational (BGI). Deri has worked with more than 250 businesses and independent entrepreneurs at board
level, owned 20 businesses of his own, earned an MBA and sits on many boards including the charity Global Angels.

One of the truly unique aspects of his speeches comes from his love of adventure – Deri has climbed five of the highest mountains in the world, run the infamous Marathon des Sables, completed the legendary Ironman and even made a life-changing attempt to scale Everest in Spring 2015. Deri reached advanced base camp but the final climb was aborted due to the horrific earthquake which he was extremely lucky to survive.
